8 reasons why you’re not blogging with confidence (and how to fix’em!)

I started this blog post very confidently…

In fact it’s one of the few posts I started with a great title before writing the content.

It does not happen very often to me. I usually write up the post and then craft the title, after a number of tries.

But then the actual content did not come easily to me. In fact, it took me a few days to finish it, after a few rewrites.

I even announced it on social media, which should have given me enough of a push and accountability to write it.

I think I know why this blog post was so hard to write… And it has to do with confidence.

Which is ironic, because I’m teaching you how to be more confident in this very post, so I should, you know, be confident?

But I digress. Let me share with you 8 reasons (I’m sure there are more!) why you may not be blogging confidently.

I experienced all of them at one time or another in my blogging journey:

1. You think there’s nothing you could be writing about

You’re not a good writer, and all great blog posts are already written.

Fix it: Write anyway.

Even if you feel like you’re copying someone, that your writing skills stink, or if you stare 5 minutes in front of the monitor not typing a single word.

It will work in the end, I promise you! After all, it worked for me with this post.
