7 Ways to Maximize Your Marketing Efficiency

Is there anything you wouldn’t give for a few more hours in the day? With all of the hard work that goes into running a business, sometimes your marketing efforts aren’t as efficient as you’d like them to be. Thankfully, there are a number of ways to save time marketing your business.

While we don’t have any magic way to add time to your day, we can probably help you find a few minutes you didn’t know were there.

1. Optimize Efficiency on Social Media
Social media helps you establish a presence in the digital world and connects you directly with your customers. Without a plan, however, you could be wasting valuable time. Here are some ways you can optimize your time spent in the social media landscape:

  • Schedule Your Posts in Advance
There are some great tools out there (like Pagemodo) that offer added functionality to your social media accounts. Do this thoughtfully, as posting innocent comments that end up looking insensitive due to unforeseen events, or posting irrelevant information, is a real possibility.
  • Keep a Calendar
Having a plan for interaction with your customers can help you prepare posts quickly, and help build on other marketing campaigns you may have on the horizon. Check out this post on building an editorial calendar to help organize your content.
  • Use What Your Customers are Using
Pay attention to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. and optimize your presence, but don’t spread yourself too thin. If you’re not seeing any value from a specific platform, and you don’t have the time or ability to build interest, focus on what your customers are using.
