How Salesforce Sees “The State of Marketing” In 2015

Salesforce surveyed more than 5,000 marketers globally in December 2014 to determine the top priority for marketing across all digital channels for 2015. The 2015 State of Marketingreport was released this month. The survey evaluated the importance of digital marketing, specifically Email, Mobile and Social Media Marketing.

In 2014 the survey revealed areas where marketers planned to increase spending.  This year the top five areas of increased spending all relate to Social and Mobile channels.  The 2015 survey shows increased spending in the following areas:
