Twitter has been in my top 3 traffic sources for about a year now. On average, my blog receives about 200 – 500 visits a day from Twitter. Not bad for free traffic that doesn’t take that much effort.

Now with the new Twitter design, your background image is a non issue, which makes a good profile even more important.
Your profile should a mix of a lil biz and a lil funny with a touch of personal. This will give you the best chance to first, get you more followers and second, send you more Twitter traffic to your blog.
