As our culture becomes more and more immersed in social media and technology, privacy remains an ongoing concern.
Facebook has recently been accused of breaching data-protection laws in Europe and Samsung has admitted that some of their smart TV models have been uploading user voices to the Internet, without encryption.
As we willingly surrender so much personal information to corporations just for the privilege of downloading an app, it would be nice to know that our online activity and private messages are somewhat safeguarded.
But perhaps that’s asking too much?
