For most of my life, I’ve pictured myself as an extrovert. When I was very young, I frequently got in trouble for talking very very very loudly to my peers. I played lots of team sports, and relished in the social interactions they brought me. My idea of a relaxing night was to invite a bunch of friends over to hang out.
At the same time, I was an avid reader — and cherished the times I could curl up in my room alone to devour the latest trashy thriller I picked up at the library.
