JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER

Judge A Book By Its CoverIt’s immediate. Either the message resonates with your reader or it doesn’t.

Most of you won’t spend more than a few seconds to skim through about 20% of this article if I can’t snatch your attention right off the bat.

But, do you know what can help with that? Using headers to break up text and a few appropriately placed images or graphics to illustrate my article will cut down on the monotony of text blocks and keep readers moving through the content.

LOOKING AT THE WHOLE PACKAGE

You know the old saying, “don’t judge a book by its cover.” But that is not at all how we live in today’s consumer driven society. I mean, don’t you check out the packaging when you are in the grocery store picking out a package of fries? And, don’t you look at all the books on the book shelf before picking one out, based entirely on the appearance of the cover, to read? We even judge mobile apps based on their covers in the app stores.
